Ceramics

inmiro nature series / 2025

The Nature Series begins with observation.
Waves just before they break, flower buds holding their tension, pebbles rounded by repeated contact with water.
These are not images of nature, but moments when form briefly exists before changing.

The series takes these fleeting states and fixes them into solid objects.
Each piece is developed from a single frame — a moment cut from continuous movement and held in place.
Slip-cast and hand-finished, the forms are not representations, but results of selection and pause.

Placed within daily routines, the objects do not imitate nature.
They function as quiet records of a moment that has already passed —
a reminder that what we encounter is never the whole flow, but a fragment held still.

inmiro pot series / 2025

The Pot Series reconsiders the ceramic pot as a sculptural form rather than a functional container.
By placing the act of planting in a secondary role, each piece is defined first by proportion, silhouette, and mass.
Slip-cast and hand-finished, the forms inhabit space before they hold anything.

inmiro WALL PIECES series / 2025

The Wall Pieces Series approaches ceramic as a constructed surface rather than an expressive image.
Using the nerikomi technique, each piece is built through planned layers of color and form.
Unlike traditional approaches that embrace randomness, the clay is assembled into a visual field shaped by selection, order, and control.

Mounted on the wall, the works exist between object and plane.
They do not depict images, but reveal structure — how layers meet, shift, and hold together.
In this series, clay is treated not as decoration, but as material organized into a deliberate composition.
