This series of ceramic planters reinterprets the traditional vessel by emptying its function and approaching it as a sculptural object.
Each form is slip-cast and hand-finished, created not only to hold plants, but to quietly inhabit and shape space.

A series of wall-mounted ceramic panels made using the nerikomi technique.
Unlike the traditional approach that embraces randomness, each piece in this series features meticulously planned patterns — from vibrant abstract compositions to floral motifs.
Color, shape, and rhythm are layered like brushstrokes, transforming clay into a visual field of intentional design.

20sided vessel / 2022

Hand-built, nerikomi slab-constructed and inlaid ceramic vessel by kim haneul. 2022.
Calm and stable shape was completed only by combining triangles. A three-dimensional effect with patterns and a single color arrangement.
